Jules Massenet

Paris, France, 1842–1912 (Composer)

Jules Émile Frédéric Massenet (1842–1912) was a French composer of the Romantic era, best known for his operas. In 1884, he wrote Chanson de Théodora (unpublished) for Victorien Sardou’s play, Théodora.
